why did toshiba advertise a netbook as notebook? I have just taken a look at this netbook and noticed it didn’t have cd or dvd player as it wasn’t stated in any part of the advertisment!!! For this price, there are a lot of better deals for netbooks online. I would even go ahead and buy an ipad!!! By the way, I didn’t even mention about the sound quality, which is terrible, I couldn’t even make a phone call on skype, the other side didn’t hear me at all!!! I also didn’t like its sound system because I turned on the highest volume but didn’t hear the music quite enough!!! This is just a false advertisement and expensive product for a netbook!!!

Amazing laptop. Nice and small. Toshiba makes some good laptops at affordable prices. I just got it, so I’m still tinkering around with it. The specs and battery life is what drew my attention. Although most users get 6-7 hrs., you can get up to 9 hrs. with the right setting. All in all, it’s a steal for it’s price. lol

    I hated it.

The computer looked cool, but somewhere along the line in the order process, I ignored the fact that this product did not come with a DVD drive-my fault.

The touch pad was dysfunctional. It would work when the computer came on, but then would lose functionality as time went on. This was particularly frustrating after I had uploaded my whole hard drive onto it. Thus forcing me to restart the computer several times in order to erase my files, once I realized I must return it.

Even if the touch pad DID work, the touch pad buttons where very stiff and difficult to push. Furthermore, they were stylish and SLIPPERY. I hated them.

The operating system wasn’t working either, but I don’t have time to write a book right now.

The best part about this purchase, was how easy it was to get [...] to refund my money. I promptly left the Toshiba brand and bought and ACER.

Product configured as advertised. Initially had ‘touchy’/erratic touchpad. Would like to have had a optical drive, but bought a USB drive …. and all works well. Pleased w/ size and performance of laptop. Do like the long battery life. Seems to be a good valued product.

This laptop received a relatively minor blow which caused the screen to crack. I like the unit overall, but be warned that it is very fragile and must be handled appropriately.
